Fees
• Fees for registration/erection of boilers is as per Regulation -385 of Indian Boiler Regulations 1950 or as per West Bengal Boiler Rules whichever is higher.
• Fees for registration/erection of economiser is as per Regulation -533 of Indian Boiler Regulations 1950 or as per West Bengal Boiler Rules whichever is higher.
• Inspection fees for boiler in use, inspection fees for boilers under erection and the same for boilers, boiler components, erection of pipelines, mountings and fittings under manufacture and scrutiny fees of drawings etc. are indicated in the west Bengal Boiler Rules, 1963 and in Indian Boiler regulations, 1950 as amended upto date.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
Fees for registration, inspection and other activitiea of boiler can be deposited by
• On-line payment through IFMS-GRIPS portal.
Head of Accounts:
• 1) Requisite fees for registration and inspection of the boiler in the head of accounts: “0230-00-103-001-14” – Service fees(14)
• 2) Requisite T.A for inspection of the boiler in the head of accounts:“0230-00-103-002-27” – Other Receipts(27)
Fees to be submitted online through www.wbboilers.gov.in portal for the following services:
• Ragistration and renewal of Boiler/Economiser.
• Approval for Boiler Manufacturer and Renewal Thereof.
• Approval for Boiler Erector/Repairer and Renewal Thereof.
Fees to be submitted online through IFMS-GRIPS for the remaining services:
• To keep pace with the modern technology, Directorate of Boilers has introduced the system of on-line payment of fees for inspection of boiler and related activities in this financial year in the Government Receipt Portal System (IFMS-GRIPS) with the help of Finance Department, W.B.
• In this system the owners or users of boiler can submit the fees for inspection and related activities by Debit Card or e-transfer or e-challan by logging in to the Finance Department’s Portal (www.wbfin.nic.in).
